What data we collect

When you use the Agencify Profile Scraper extension, we collect the following data from LinkedIn and Upwork profile pages you actively choose to scrape:

• Name
• Job title / headline
• Skills
• Work experience
• Profile URL
• Profile photo URL

We also store your Agencify authentication token locally in your browser to keep you signed in.

How we use the data

Scraped profile data is sent exclusively to your Agencify organization workspace via the Agencify API. It is used solely to create developer/lead records within your account.

Data storage

• Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
• Scraped profile data is transmitted to and stored on Agencify's servers (hosted on Vercel and Supabase) under your organization's account.
• No data is stored on any third-party servers beyond Agencify's infrastructure.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer user data to any third parties.

Permissions

• activeTab: To read profile data from the current tab when you click the extension.
• storage: To persist your authentication token locally.
• tabs: To detect navigation to supported profile pages.
• identity: To authenticate with your Agencify account.
• Host permissions: To run content scripts on LinkedIn and Upwork profile pages only.

Data retention

You can delete any scraped profile from your Agencify account at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
